Selmer Paris Mark VI Alto Sax, SN; 239xxx. This is a very late-run Mark VI alto. There is approximately 90-95% original lacquer remaining. Cosmetically, the finish is shiny with very minor dents on the bottom and some wear on the octave key and strap ring. There is a solder repair on the low C key guard. All pads seal well, and the G# and C# pads have been replaced. All the other pads, corks and felts are good. There is no high F# key. This horn is mechanically sound and easy to play with great action. It has a brighter sound as compared to earlier models, and excellent intonation throughout the registers. It was very recently professionally adjusted and thoroughly cleaned and is ready to play right out of the case. Included in this sale is an older Selmer brown leather-covered zippered trey pack case. The case is a bit rough around the edges and needs a new zipper, but it protects the sax well. Please contact me for more information or specific pictures.
