It is an excellent professional instrument. The saxophone has the beautiful honey-colored gold finish with the nickel-plated keys (bicolour look). It is a professional instrument built to the well-known Keilwerth quality standards. Still everything made in Germany and with good raw materials. These old saxophones were and are handcrafted and offer better quality than modern Far East saxophones in this price range. These saxophones are mechanically and materially very durable and high quality. This instrument is in very good condition considering its age. First of all: The saxophone has mostly old pads and needs to be overhauled, adjusted and re-padded for professional or serious use. Unfortunately it doesn’t play the way it is. BUT: The body and mechanics are in excellent condition considering their age. It has no irreparable technical damage or dents. Mechanics are in good condition and not warped. The body is straight and without visible solder joints. The instrument is optically in very good condition, consistent with its age, apart from a few discolorations and scratches all around. The beautiful honey laquer is also largely in good condition. Due to the good substance and quality, the instrument offers a great starting point for an overhaul. Diese alten Saxophone waren und sind handwerklich gefertigt worden und bieten eine bessere Qualität als moderne Fernost-Saxophone in dieser Preisklasse. Diese Saxophone sind mechanisch und materialtechnisch sehr langlebig und robust. Dieses Instrument befindet sich in einem altersgemäß sehr guten Zustand. Vorab: Das Saxophon hat überwiegend alte Polster und muss für den professionellen bzw. Ernsthaften Gebrauch überholt, eingestellt und neu gepolstert werden. Es spielt so wie es ist leider nicht. ABER: Der Korpus und die Mechanik sind altersmäßig hervorragend erhalten. Es hat keine irreparablen technischen Schäden oder Dellen. Die Mechanik ist in gutem Zustand und nicht verzogen. Der Korpus ist gerade und ohne sichtbare Lötstellen. Optisch ist das Instrument ebenso altersgemäß bis auf einige Verfärbungen und Kratzer rund herum sehr gut erhalten.
