Today we have a 1940’s Woodwind Company Dick Stabile Special Alto Saxophone mouthpiece. I have really enjoyed owning this piece – had it a while and love it but resistance is a bit much for me these days. 066 – I was playing it with a V16 2½, which is probably why the resistance is a bit much for me, but I’ve changed sax since so time to pass it on anyway. Authentic swing / big band sound from a piece right in the middle of that era, and in very good condition.
