Price is negotiable, make an offer, you might be surprised. Keilwerth The New King Alto Saxophone in nice hard case – VERY GOOD condition, very good player. Made in Germany in 1958. I want to make this easy. If you get the horn and decide you don’t like it for any reason, just send it back. Instrument Condition: The overall physical condition of this used instrument is Very Good. Playing Condition: This instrument is very good playing condition. The Finish: It has roughly 9 8 % of the lacquered finish still in excellent condition. Player Wear: very minor wear and m aybe some very minor silver tarnish (See Pics). The Bell: No lip damage, minimal finish wear. Pad Condition: Some pads are new, some p ads are not new, but it doesn’t NEED a ny new pads. Even the older looking pads are obviously from an overhaul not very long ago. If I were going to play it “for a living”, I would probably want a complete overhaul eventually, but the horn plays and performs EXCELLENTLY as is right now, no leaks, great intonation top to bottom. This horn was also just serviced and regulated. The Neck: original neck – numbers matching. The Mouthpiece: No Mouthpiece, ligature, or accessories are included. The Case: Very nice hard case (Not original) in excellent cosmetic a nd functional condition and is a great fit for the horn. Re-soldered: one post (G#), but was done very well. The only reason I know is because I just paid to have it done. Engraving: engraving looks good, not a relaquered horn. Bell says The New King. “Best In The World” and “JK” near the serial number. Additional Information: Needs nothing. Also, at first I thought this black guard was something aftermarket, but if you look at the photos, this guard has the JK logo on the inside. It looks to be clear on the inside and black on the top side. I dont know the history of this horn, so though Ive NEVER seen one of these guards in black, Im a bit perplexed as to why it DOES have the JK logo on the inside of the guard.
