This horn has a very unique Bell engraving. (See the owl) We have never seen this engraving pattern on another Martin. By the serial Number we have dated it’s Production to 1926. Legendary Martin Build quality are seen in this Alto. Beveled Tone holes and beautiful engraving and key work. Original Case works as it should and is very cool on it’s own. One of the Festival stamps is from 1952. Gold plating appears to be original, engraving and stamps are crisp and clear. Shows a little wear through at the thumb contact point.
