Vintage Arnold Brilhart Level Air Alto Sax Mouthpiece 5 – #2252 – Pre Selmer! A fantastic sounding mouthpiece! And in great condition. These were made before the Selmer buyout and have sideways milling marks instead of vertical (as seen on the later Level Airs). Plays with bright and round tone – think early David Sanborn he played one of these! Also played by Ornette Coleman on’The Shape Of Jazz To Come’ and Anthony Braxton on several of his albums. Bite plate has been replaced by Ed Pillinger. He used resin instead of the traditional ebonite, which is far more durable!
