Otto Link eburnated bar alto sax mouthpiece, serial number 7146 from about 1936 or 1937 or so. 3 size which, according to one web site, is the best size and also seems to be the size least found for sale. Has some small scars on the outside but no teeth groove and only slight bite marks with some light scratches. Color is lightly oxidized where the ligature didn’t cover. Some whitening near the tip. Inside there are some vertical grooves and scars. Could be removed I think but they are fairly deep. Has a later silver color ligature marked France and an old cap from the’20s or 30s. Cap has some bends around the open edge but salvageable. No cracks or repairs.
