This is a great-playing example of a vintage Conn New Wonder II Chu alto saxophone manufactured in the 1928, #M211XXX. This sax has an example of ornate engraving and it was likely gold-plated originally although now it has a worn vintage relaquer finish. His sax is in used condition with normal wear and scratching from many years of playing, but everything works great, and it is set up to good playing adjustment on older pads.
