1955 Vintage French Buffet Super-dynaction Alto Sax Needs Pads, Not Playable

REPAIRMAN’S SPECIAL, PR0-QUALITY FRENCH BUFFET R-66 ALTO SAXOPHONE, MADE IN PARIS IN 1958. No major damage anywhere, key pearls still sharp, original neck, original ugly case, no mouthpiece. Lacquer is not original, probably from the seventies. Worn maybe 25 – 30%, especially on the keywork. Most of Buffet’s current saxes are made in China. This one is a vintage instrument that was produced in their workshop just west of Paris. No major damage, but the sax is not very handsome. Keywork would clean up nicely without a new re-lacquer job. It will be a very good player! Pads are NOT good and the sax is not playable. Wichita Band Instrument Company is a small musical instrument emporium located in the center of the USA.
