Yamaha Yas 23 Alto Saxophone, Made in Japan, Serviced and Ready. This saxophone has been serviced which includes: dismantling of the saxophone, thorough hand cleaning, all keys were hand buffed and polished, all pads/springs/rods/felts/corks were inspected and replaced as needed – this saxophone only needed one new pad, all of the pads were given a leather conditioning treatment to keep them soft and supple and then the larger dents on the saxophone were removed. After this was done, the saxophone was reassembled, then aligned and all mechanisms were lubricated, then the saxophone was adjusted, played and readjusted as necessary until it was playing as it should. It is a great sounding, fun playing saxophone that would be a good one for a beginner since the keys are so easy to use. Ripples from dent removal. Dings, scratches/scrapes, lacquer loss, key plating loss and plate dulling, the inner bell is raw brass and shows dings/ripples from dent removal, and a small piece of cork on the neck is missing. But as you can see from the photos it is a very nice looking saxophone despite these cosmetic flaws. Comes with a cleaned good condition Yamaha hard case, a fair condition sanitized Yamaha 4C mouthpiece, a metal ligature, a plastic cap, a very nice Rico padded neck strap, a brand new Riyin 2.5 reed, a brand new teeth guard/patch for the mouthpiece, cork grease and key oil.
