To help with sizing to your mouthpiece, the interior lateral (side to side) front opening diameter when fully closed is 22.40 mm. 880, and 24.70 mm. 972 at the back opening. The diameters when opened to the point where the tension screw tips are made flush with the metal receiver band are: 24.60 mm. 970 front, and 26.7 mm (1.05) at the back opening. It can be opened more widely but this is the point where the screw threads are still completely engaged with the metal receiver band.
