A vintage silver plated Conn low pitch “New Wonder” alto sax. Dating from around 1923. This instrument has been fully repadded and plays perfectly. There are no dents in the sax. And the microtuner on the crook still works. The silver plate is in good condition, but there are small areas where it has darkened. Has a warm, rich, sweet, mellow sound typical of instruments of that era. Comes in a wooden case which is very solid and all the catches work but is a bit scruffy on the outside.
