Vintage 1927 THE BUSCHER True Tone Alto Sax Saxophone! NO MOUTHPIECE you weren’t going to use someone else’s old mouthpiece, right??? WHAT A NICE FIND – Good old’ Made in USA. Vintage 1927 THE BUESCHER True Tone Alto Sax Saxophone! PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION & review pics. Appearance is somewhat better than you’d expect from a pro level horn that has been played FOR 90YEARS. Wear is confined to finish rather than structural. Has escaped the typical’Whoops, dropped the horn’ drama that brutalizes most of these instruments. At worst, there are a few minor dings here and there rather than crushing bends and serious dents. Cosmetic wear is within limits for the usual instrument contact points. Pads look they were done fairly recently and have plenty of life left in them. CORK IS A BIT FLATTENED OUT – SHOULD BE REPLACED. I play some tenor sax – not really great, mind you – and tested the horn. Got most of the notes, top to bottom – there is ONE POSSIBLE ISSUE, THOUGH. There are 2 keys that operate the G# – not sure what that is all about. I play some tenor sax and this made no sense to me at all. MIGHT REQUIRE ADJUSTMENT, PLEASE REVIEW ENTIRE LISTING DESCRIPTION & review pics. I have priced the horn accordingly. Needs mouthpiece, possible work on G# keys, new neck cork recommended and whatever personal set-up you wish to do. BEST OF LUCK! Needs have been described. I HAVE PRICED THE HORN ACCORDINGLY.
